New Venue for 2023!ĭo you fancy joining #TeamCHC at the London Marathon in April 2024? Entry into our FREE prize draw couldn’t be easier… This event has sold out in previous years, so we are encouraging people to register in advance to avoid disappointment. Registrations will be accepted on the day if places are still available. Online registration will close at midday on Wednesday 8th March 2023, or when the race is at capacity. There are all the usual features of a Grand Prix event water stations, bag drop, bananas, prizes, and once again the Run Falmouth Half Marathon is being chip timed. The run is well supported along the whole route as locals from Falmouth and the surrounding picturesque villages come out to cheer the runners on. The route takes place entirely on the road and follows undulating Cornish country lanes featuring open fields and wooded scenes, passing the beautiful Falmouth Golf Course twice. The 13.1 mile route starts on Cliff Road, first taking in the loop around Pendennis Headland and then following the coast past the beautiful beaches of Gyllyngvase and Swanpool and glimpsing Maenporth Beach as the route rises to give fabulous views over the bay towards Pendennis Castle.
